John Bull Association Clubrooms

Formed by British migrants to help them find a niche in their new home.  Itt was opened 1965.  The John Bull Association was established in 1960 by a group of people wanted a regular meeting palce from where they could facilitate the assimilation of migrants especially English migrants.   After purchasing the land they used a transportatble building for their first club room.  Money for the building was raiwed through Bingo doantions. 

It is now home to the Darts association.  The building was designed by Architects jansen and Treloar in June 1968.
